U.S. Army service: Daniel served for 66 days in Captain William Wood's Company 53, Kentucky Volunteers from 22 Aug., 1813 to 13 Nov., 1813, in the War of 1812, as a Private. This company was a part of Taul's 7th Regiment, Mounted Kentucky Volunteers. Records (?) state that Daniel Stockton died intestate in the state of Kentucky on the 15th day of September, 1838.
