GGGGG Grandfather of Ronald P. Stockton. This is Sgt. Thomas Trent from the ARW, whose right arm and part of his left hand was blown off at the Battle of Monmouth in 1778. Information from"Some Southern Colonial Families" Vol.4,by David A. Avant, jr. Thomas' pension records (U.S. Pension Records, p.514) state that he died 28th June 1820.
